AGROADA 2011 – Regional Smart Specialisation

 

On behalf of the Mayor of Bielsko-Biala, Development Agency Regional SA and the European Association of Development Agencies EURADA we are pleased to invite the international konference Agorada 2011, which will be held on 17 and 18 November 2011.

 

Traditionally, in autumn, the European Association of Development Agencies, EURADA, headquartered in Brussels, is organizing its international Forum entitled AGORADA. The Forum is devoted to the most vital issues related to the advancement of the European Union.

 

This year its leading subject is the new EU policy called “Smart Specialization Strategy” (S3). This issue is particularly relevant due to the need of further defining strategic goals for regional development in correlation with the effective absorption of scarce financial resources. The strategy for regional development based on Smart Specialization will strengthen regions and thus raise the competitiveness of the European Union.
