13 Programmes - 1 Goal: to Improve Quality of Life in European Regions!
For the first time, the 13 transnational programmes currently operating in the framework of the European Territorial Cooperation objective organize a joint conference demonstrating how transnational cooperation helps to improve quality of life in European regions.
This conference will focus on two main questions: What has been achieved by transnational cooperation so far and what is the future potential?
The conference will take place 15th and 16th September 2011 in Katowice, Poland and feature high level speakers and panels including EU Commission representatives and Polish Ministries. It is arranged in cooperation with and hosted by the Silesian Region and the city of Katowice and will be an accompanying event of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council.
